It’s a Star Wars fan’s fever dream and, for our Galactic Credits at least, the very best LEGO game this developer has made to date. TT Games has served up a spectacular re-treading of the three trilogies here, combining fast and frantic campaign missions that bounce from set-piece to set-piece as they take in all the big moments from the movies, and a huge open world that’s absolutely stuffed to the gills with secrets, puzzles and exploration to dig into in your downtime. Indeed, as we sat down to boot up this latest LEGO Star Wars adventure, we couldn’t help but wonder if we were particularly up for diving into this universe from scratch all over again.

The digital Character Collection Edition also requires either a physical or digital copy of the game. It’s also worth noting that none of the Xbox digital download codes include any pre-order incentive available with some physical versions of the game, such as the Amazon and Walmart Classic Character Pack DLC. The digital download codes are currently only available for Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. Whichever version players decide to purchase, they’ll be sent an email with a code for their digital copy of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga at a later date and the game will then be available to download and play from launch day. That’s a total of £61.98 for both codes, compared to £59.99 for the Deluxe Edition download code. The digital Standard Edition costs £49.99 / $59.99 and the digital Character Collection Edition is £11.99 (there’s no listing for the US version of that code so far). However, this would be a much more expensive option than simply purchasing the digital download code for the Deluxe Edition of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which also includes the additional DLC.
